Katia's Beauty Pro Dominican Style Reviews

I’ve been coming to Katia’s salon for a while now, and I can honestly say I’ve always had a great experience. Katia is professional, welcoming, and truly cares about the quality of the services provided at her salon. The entire team is wonderful. Fabiola is amazing at what she does—always attentive, professional, and makes sure you leave happy with the results. Marleny, the nail technician, is also excellent. She takes her time, pays attention to detail, and my nails always come out beautiful. What I appreciate most is the welcoming atmosphere and the way everyone treats their clients. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, and I’ve consistently received great service. It’s clear that Katia takes pride in her business and has built a team that genuinely cares about their work and their clients. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service and a place where you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Definitely a 5-star experience!

I’ve been coming here for years and I never had a problem, Katia is very sweet and does her job very well. I absolutely love coming to this salon! I’ve been getting my hair colored, cut, wash and set here, and I’m always happy with the results. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a place where they can trust their hair to be in good hands! ❤️

Don’t come to this place they’re going to rip you off. I went on dec 5 2025 to get a blowout with volume my hair is thin and the length is about boob length and I asked for the Price she did not give it to me. She sat me down to wash my hair and I brought my shampoo and conditioner. She sat me down and started blow drying my hair there was another lady that got a blowout .She had shoulder length and she charge her $45 so when she was finished, I ask her how much is it she told me it was $60. I. Asked her why so much she said my hair is long and thick “ Horse hair” I told her no I don’t thick hair .IM NEVER GOING TO GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN…… FYI there isn’t no flyers or pricing menu so they can charge you whatever they wanna charge you.

No! Came here the 22nd of February, based off a social media post as a recommendation. I brought my daughter and I in for a blow out and trim. The social media post said she only paid $45 but I was upcharged $130. I brought my own shampoo and conditioner. Although the main stylist was nice, it doesn’t excuse the fact that we were rushed out the chair because others started coming in and she doesn’t have the pace to support a lot of customers. My blowout was not complete and we didn’t get out trim, but thank goodness. The brushes she had NEEDS REPLACEMENT, hair all in it, bristles bent. She did not take her time detangling our hair, literally creating knots, yanking through the sections. The other stylist who seemed to only speak their language did not help out (maybe that’s their own thing they have going on-my assumption). There was an older lady and young lady in front of us that were together. Then another pair behind us. As I watched the young lady in the chair, you can tell she was not satisfied with the color she bleached her hair for and had to settle for what could be done. I’m not sure what kind of pink color she wanted but the stylist tried to persuade her to just settle for purple. But the young lady told her to just keep it pink. If I could of took a picture the bleach process on her hair looked very discolored and patchy. Just a hard no, we will not return.

I would definitely recommend this spot! The owner is very nice & their work is impressive. I got a blowout there & I was very amazed.
